Ever since I was younger, I've found a real joy in taking pictures. I got my start learning how to photograph with film and took photography classes in high school and college. Later on I attended graduate school and received a Graduate Degree in Photography.
I honestly never considered wedding photography to be my main focus, however, a lot of my college friends started asking me to capture their wedding day. They then told their friends, who turned around and told their friends. Now, 13 years later, weddings are all I photograph...and I love every minute of it! I get to tell visual stories from coast to coast!
When I'm not traveling to photograph weddings, I can most likely be found devouring delicious Chick-fil-A or visiting Walt Disney World with my family. I call Jacksonville, FL home with my wife, Christina, and our two sons, Brantley and Beckett.

I was born and raised in Lynchburg, VA. I weighed 9 lbs. 9 oz. Most of that, I believe, was in my big head. It took several years to grow into it.
the early days
I am the fourth of five kids. Growing up in a large family had many joys and pains. But a lot of my favorite memories include this crazy bunch of goofs.

Early on I realized I'm not the athletic type.

I played t-ball as a kid, but quickly realized that sports weren't for me.

Instead of sports, I played the drums. Starting in the 6th grade, and through high school and college, I was in the marching band drumline. We were awesome.

In 2008, a college friend told me about Miami Ad School Atlanta @ Portfolio Center. One of the Top 10 art schools in the U.S. I was accepted, spent two years there, and got a Graduate Degree in Photography.

While living in Atlanta, I met the love of my life while attending a local church. Not a bad place to meet someone.

I married my best friend, Christina, in 2010.

In 2014, we welcomed our son, Brantley, into the world. God blessed us with our first handsome young man.

One of the best chapters in someone's life story is their wedding day, and I love to capture it in a creative and imaginative way. My goal is to help you have fun and give you reassurance that your story is in good hands.
I always try to make sure I let each unique wedding story shine through in the bride and groom's photographs. While I like to have fun with my couples, I also take the occasion very seriously.
I strive to invest in my couples as they invest in me. I don't treat weddings like any regular job. I treat my brides and grooms like friends, and continue that friendship past your wedding day. I don't want to just provide you with your visual story. I also want to give you a shield to help protect that story. Marriage isn't easy, but there are a lot of us who are here to help you through those valleys and celebrate with you on the hilltops. This chapter in your life is not only a story worth telling, but one worth preserving.
